Potassium deficiency in Queen palms

Milarchy

Hi all-

New with palms and am noticing signs of potential potassium deficiency in some 3 gallon potted queen palms recently purchased. Symptoms include yellow spotting in older fronds and light green color in newer ones coming out of the crown. I have applied a small amount of Whitney Farms palm/hibiscus fertilizer as well as a dose of magnesium sulfate and have been watering regularly. I'm in Houston, so was waiting a few more weeks to transplant them into the ground to avoid any freeze danger. Any thoughts or recommendations on treatments are appreciated. Don't want my first palms to croak! Thanks
