Have you ever wanted to grow Palm Trees, banana Trees, cactii, or bamboo in your backyard? In Michigan? Come learn how!

We have confirmed that we will be meeting for our inaugural "Tropics of Michigan Botany Society: Pushing the Zone Limits" meeting on April 20th, 2011 at Telly Greenhouse on John R Rd north of Big Beaver Rd (16 Mile) at 7 p.m. - 9 p.m.

It has been posted on both the MSU Ext. Master Gardener and Flikr Websites and is getting a very good response. If you intend to make it, please reply on this thread so that we can accommodate the participants.

This should be lots of fun and we'll get a tour of the greenhouse as well.

I'll put you down as a participant. Should I include a first name? We have about 15-20 signed up now. The MSU-Ext did a great job advertising...
