| Sounds like there's going to be another major East coast snow storm that'll be falling on zone 7 (zone 8?) palms this coming weekend. Get your cameras ready! |

| Its a wet snow here in the city and they say it should be an inch - not too bad. Its rain in Atlantic city so far. |

| They said it would be the fluffy stuff, but we got about 2 inches of the wet, packing variety. Weighing down my trachy fronds some...

| Nice pic trishmick! All the snow that came today is all melted in my area, but it looks like a much bigger storm is in the works. Possibly 5 inches by me, but maybe as much as 12 or even more. The worst of the storm will probably be in the DC area and it looks like the same areas effected by the last snow storm will also be effected by this one. Still a little far in the future, but certainly one to watch. The day after the storm might drop around 15F by me so I dont think I will be keeping my palms exposed to the snow. Looks like the mid atlantic is seeing winters full rage right now, good thing is this will probably be the worst and once february is over so will the worst of winter. I think this winter was a bad one by me. The lowest temperatures of the season have been relatively mild (mid teens), but the duration of the cold has been much longer than usual which is just as damaging and the south has had colder temps than usual and a lot of it. Hopefully winter will end on schedule. Good luck! |
