| Sounds real early to me--especially in the North! Mine began flowering annually a few years ago--but in July. The only other palm that I have that now flowers annually is my Mediterranean fan (which bloom from late April into May). If you post a pic, forum members will help you determine whether it's a girl or a boy (date palms will have either all male flowers or all female). Congrats! |

| I had one for probably 3 summers. It only flowered the first summer though. Not sure why...Had about a foot and a half of trunk. I can't seem to find another with that kind of trunkage for cheap though. |
