| They have flowered anywhere from 4-7 years. I have about 5 of them that are flowering. |

| When they are farther along, can you post pics comparing male vs female flowers? I've been told male trees have yellowish flowers (think: pollen) and females have white (think: pure). But I've never really been able too see this in person. |

| Interesting, i did not know that wet. Can you pollinate a male with a female or vice versa? |

| Just like in humans. Males fertilize female. Females produce the fruit/seeds. Males don't. Windmills are one of a few palms that have separate male and female trees. Most other palms (like all the sabals) have both male and female flowers on the same tree and can self-fertilize. |
