| Apparently I didn't provide adequate freeze protection this winter for my E.h. I use the copper fungicide on palms to nurse them through freezes, with mixed results. Are there any suggestions on how to encourage recovery in my Encephalartos horridus? Last winter we had a period of 40hrs below freezing. This winter not AS cold but several repeated nights of 28 - 32F, and freezing rain rather than light snow. |
