Help! My family heirloom is dying (I think)

Reginna

We bought my inlaws home about 2 years ago. They left us this beautiful palm because it was to big to move to their new house. She left me with no instructions on its care and I'm not even sure what kind it is. They got it on their honeymoon(about 30 years ago). It seemed to be doing well until about 6 months ago.The leaves are turning yellow, and it has started to sag. My guess is that it needs to be transplanted and some sort of supports need to be added. Please help!! Any information on it's care would be greatly appreciated. We have been watering it about once a week and it lives in our sunroom. If something happens to this plant I will definitly be on her list and it won't be the good one!!
