To me, it sounds like insufficient watering. Are you sure the soil is really getting saturated when you do water, or does it just run through without really getting wet. How does the soil feel a couple of days after watering--dry, slightly moist, or wet?

That kind of thing only happens to me when I underwater. I would give it a really good soaking and see what happens. How is the drainage. If it is really good then give it a lot of water, but very slowly. If the drainage is not that good, then only give it a little bit of water or repot it with better soil!

I think it may be because I'm using Miracle Grow Potting Soil (Moisture Control) what do you guys think?

MG is terrible!--Might as well grow it in pure peat moss. I would translplant them. I can't tell you how much work I had to do from a mistake made years ago--mostly, with my Citrus collection--and I'm still working to correct it!

I use Miracle gro occasionally mostly because it usually drains so well that I can add it to the backyard soil! But I'm looking for some better soil at the nurseries this year. Some type of compost manure, natural potting soil would probably be best, but I dont know anything about soil. Im know a pretty good amount about plants, but next to nothing about what soil they grow best in!

You want a soil that has good drainage. I usually end up mixing up my own. Even MG's so-calle Cacti and succulent mix seems peaty to me. I guess they just want to lighten the load--so you basically seem to get peat moss. I like the brand Hyponix better to use as a starting base, you can add some coarse sand, perlite and orchid bark. Palms love water, but their roots also want oxygen so with a loose soil you can freely water especially in the growing season, and especially if you put them outside as many here do. In the summer, mine get hosed down every day.
