Plants on a mission, subtrops from The Masters, and more aerial

Although the normal to slightly below normal weather has made an appearance, this spring just continues to impress me around the yard.

hardy hibiscus shooting up all around the yard. About a month ahead of schedule.

Crepe 'dynamite' leaves emerging (also about a month ahead of schedule).

Crepe shrubs pushing out nicely already.

New to lilies and thought I lost them all last year. The bulbs appear to be just fine.

Liking this sabal minor 'Cape Hatteras' palm so far. This guy was unprotected for 2 winters and gets full Northerly winds.

Waggies are my favorite palm to grow.

lawn looks good already. Hostas opening up and the Blue Oats grass is getting large. I need two more that didn't make it through the drought last year but nurseries don't have stock this early.

OFF TO THE MASTERS...

Historical live oak near the clubhouse.

Numerous and awesome southern magnolias.

Very tall georgia pines that dominated this course.

only palmetto I saw on the course. Bamboo right next to it.

No flowers on the azaleas but still a gorgeous hole.

congrats to Bubba!

also stopped in Columbia, SC for a few days. Line of palmettos outside USC's football stadium.

palmetto silhouette in front of Capitol building.

Tried to get a palmetto next to the moon, like the state flag. :)

JUST A FEW MORE AERIAL PHOTOS, THIS TIME FROM THE WEST.

San Francisco

Approach to Vegas. City is visible under the winglet.

Rocky Mountains in Colorado.

I never realized Denver was so flat!

Sorry for so many pics, but I've been building them up over the past few weeks! Hope you enjoyed them.
