Looks like burnt leaves, probably fertilizer to much, or fertilizer with dry roots. Water good and let it grow out. It would be fine.

If they're getting the same water/fertiliser and light conditions it could be just the soil. Maybe there's a difference with drainage between the two positions.

We really need more information to give a correct answer here. Tell us what you have done to it in the last 6 months and the weather conditions during the day and might etc...

Some of it looks like cold damage setting in. Some more information would be helpful. Did you experience any low temps?

It is definitely not cold damage. Just planted last year and we did not get damaging temperatures. The companion which is healthier and dark green gets less sun but these palms thrive in sun. Perhaps more water is the answer but I suspected chlorosis due to the initial yellowing.
