4 year old Queen Palms still same size..... :(

I bought 2 20glln queen palms from my local Home Depot about 4 years ago, they were about 6' tall when I planted them. Now, 4 years later, they are about 7' tall!! I planted them according to the label recomendations, I fertilize and water regularly and still I see no growth in height. the trunk has grown little in girth, but thats about it. My neighbor across the street planted the same size and type of palms about a year later, and his are nice and tall, almost doubled in size. I noticed that my palms are only green at the center of the stems/ leaves, and start gettling yellow as you get to the tips. Also, the only water they get is from the sprinklers that water my grass/lawn. My lawn gets watered once every other day for 15 mins. Is this not enough water? is it being over watered? should I use different type of fertilizer? Please any help and suggestions are greatly appreciated. I'm almost ready to pull them out and buy new ones!!
