I have some 5 year old Royal palm seeds I thought the wife threw out long ago. They have been in the garage, dry and in a plastic bag.
Any point of planting them anymore?

have never worked much with Royals due to the size. My en tire lot is only 75x100 and there's a house in th middle lol. Palm seeds can be VERY frustratingly slow but there are ways to speed it up.. You can google for some specific ideas though I generally put them in a pot of coir and wait and wait and wait lol good luck gary

My experience is they don't stay good long. They seem a little temperamental to germinate. I get them fresh and I get about 30% to germinate. Maybe there are better ways though to get better results.
