new palms from walmart

went to get some potting soil and perlite and found these comming off the truck..went ahead and picked them up left some really large needles and saw palmettos. will go back when there on 50% off

this is rated at a 6B but its more like a 7B most winters. we had 2 nights down to 8 degrees but other than that it was mid 20's most of the time. I'll pot plant them for awhile till they get some more size on them then put them in the ground. the tag says they were grown in FLA so I have to toughen them up a bit before they stay out an entire winter.

I still havent gotten by our big box stores yet. I know of one that got in palms and already sold out. I need to take another road trip to buy some newbies.

I've noticed Walmarts here have started carrying more varieties of palms. Stuff I haven't normally seen so maybe be on the look out up there also.
