Tomorrow I'm receiving 10 very small seedling sabal mauritiiformis. I'm really just wondering if anyone knows what sort of mix they'd do best potted in -- extremely sharp drainage, more moisture-retentive, or something in the middle; preference for acid or sweet soil, that sort of thing.
Last weekend I saw beautiful sabal mauritiiformis up at Selby Gardens in Sarasota, and I'm just so surprised not to see anyone in Cape Coral growing these sabals.
T.I.A. (thanks in advance!)
