I would be sure to keep your pot and receipt. I have already returned a pindo purchased from HD this year. But since our stores didn't get any Sylvesters this year( or a lot of other typical cold hardies ) it might be worth the risk.

If it's a good price, I would get it! If you have a plant place near by that might be worth waiting for then its a choice you have to make! I personally have always wanted to try a Phoenix in the ground, but I have so many marginal palm already and not enough room or protection materials for any more right now!

They are about 3 gallon pots for $29.97. Must be selling them since they seem to be getting replenished. Yesterday's selection included euro fan, silver euro, needle, windmill, and sylvester. Maybe someone mentioned how poor last weeks' varieties looked. These were all healthy looking, and a pretty nice size.

I have had great luck with blue pots. Get best looking one and keep receipt and info tag for one year. If it dies take it back. Best deal going for experimenting.

It's shocking how pricy they are up north. I bought a 3 gallon Sylvester at hd last week for six bucks here in Tampa. I should start a mail order service for you guys.
