Sago, Moving across states

We have a 25 year old sago, potted, 6 ft. span, that thas survived moves from Texas and lived in Minn., Michigan and PA. the last 23 years. We are moving back to Texas and really want to take her home with us. She's had enough winters inside.

Wha tis the best pruning method to help her make the trip home- 3 days in a van? Should I cut her all the way back, or what? Please advise and thanks.

Hello she will have no problem being a van for three days. Can you get her in the van without cutting fronds? I have moved many cycads, palms and other plants on long road trips with no problem. After the trip just soak her real good. Are you leaving her in her pot for the trip and do you have any pics?
