When and how to fertilize trachys?

Hello to all my fellow zone pushers.
Had tremendous success with my overwintering process this winter, especially considering the rough winter we had in NYC. Also being my first winter in the ground was no expecting success. However, I think they actually grew in the enclosures over the winter. Now, my mother always says if it ain't broke don't fix it. With that being said should I fertilize my palms? If so, when and how much? Also should I cut flower stems of the tree to promote growth elsewhere? Thanks in response, Robert

Not exactly sure if this is Trachycarpus fortunei? Leaves are much broader and thinker than other trachys? Maybe has health advantage since it is planted so close to the house? Has not flowered yet, but looks great after horrible winter.

Glad to see your palms made it through the winter without any problems! They look very nice. I used carls pools palm fertilizer with pretty good results so you can definitely give that a try. I got mine off ebay, it looks like they don't have the palm fertilizer on there right now though.
Hope you have continued success. Most of the trachys around here look awful and mine took a bit of a beating but don't look terrible at least.
