This is my 4 yr old windmill palm that has not been growing well over the past year and after this winter in vancouver bc canada, this is what is left. I was advised by the garden center to dig it up and move it as I may not have dug the original hole large enough as it was very hard, clay type soil. We have made a large hole and used a mixture of well drained soil and it is not showing any signs of recuping. The new fronds from before transplanting were already not healthy looking. How long do I wait???as I have another to plant and not wanting to dig another large hole if I am just going to dig this one up if it doesn't survive.Thanks so much for any advise
