Nice! It looks like its doing very well! Dioon Edules are painfully slow growers so yours is healthy and growing normally.
Right now your Dioon has one frond and that frond will not grow any more. However it will grow a new frond and eventually another frond and before you know it, it will have several fronds and a trunk begining to show (the trunk is called a caudex). Once it's older it will grow once a year with a flush of several fronds at once.

It had two fronds before but those randomely died and then this one came out ... thats why i was woried ... should have said that in the first post lol :P

Mine get watered frequently, especially when hot... hard to rot this species (but it can be done). They can be very slow, particularly at that age. Patience! Large cycads are not cheap for a good reason!

So i guess i should water a bit more :P and sorry about the triple post lol

Dioons can handle drought, but I got 20 inches of rain last August between 2 nasty thunderstorms and 1 hurricane and my Dioon had no problems even in my clay soil. So they can handle a lot of moisture. They should never dry out completely when young, but standing water is also a problem when young so make sure it all drains out of the pot well.
Lzrddr is right, Cycads are not cheap at large sizes for a really good reason... they take forever to get to that size!
