------>Disclaimer: I am a newbie and this is my first bonsai... I know almost nothing about plants so be easy on me... Thank you
I bought a Cycas Revoluta bonsai about 2 months ago. When i first got it all of its leaves were green but now all of them have turned yellow. I water it once or twice a week in its small "quick drain" tray. I keep it in a bathroom window which gets partial sunlight. The window is blurred as most bathroom windows are and so i wonder if this means that it isn't getting enough sun.
For the last week or two I've been putting it outside in direct sunlight as i thought that might help it. So far it is still getting worse (more yellow). I recently got a tool to check the moisture, ph, light, and fertility of the soil. I also bought some palm tree food (also good for Cycads) with the units "10-5-8." I was told that this is strong and that i shouldn't use too much. I'm not fully sure what these numbers mean yet, as well as what ph level is ideal for my Cycas.
Any help on tips or trick to take care of this Cycas would be great.
Thank you for your help!
