Long summer this year?

This might be a long and warm summer for the west. Hows it going in other parts of the country?

Its crazy how fast some plants are growing now. Earlier this year it was below average. But now since its been above average for much of spring things seem to be taking off! My banana's are starting to take off. many already have 2-3 leaves. Hoping to get some fruit this year.They are about 4-5 years old now and these ones were started from roots. Do I have a good chance of getting fruit?

My king palm is growing now and should pick up speed as it warms up more and as it gets sued to being in the ground.An since its been so warm I decided why not get an early start on growth so I transplanted the coco. Hoping it will get some major growth this year.

Good looking plants. The weather is really starting to warm up. All last week we were in the 80's. Lots and lots of rain and the palms are loving it. I cut all the fronds on my washy (7 total) back in march and now I have 3 new frondswith the 4th starting to open up and a new spear. My pindo pushed out one new frond with two new spears on its way. So far so good.

Home Depot got in King Palms. My best advise is to add a couple more. They really do best gouped in triples and up...they protect each others fronds from winds. As a matter of fact,the HD palms were already three to pot.
