Great pics! You might be in a drought, but the yard is looking lush and tropical! A little watering goes a long way. Those castors are huge! I'd be happy if they looked like that in August, its still another week before July!
We have had plenty of rain, wish I could send some. Got .86 inches from a storm today (lost my power briefly from that storm also) which brings our total for the month to 5.12 inches, which will probably be the total for the month since we have a dry week ahead. February and March were the only dry months so far, each with only around an inch of rain, but we have made up for that literally 3 times over last August and have been above average the past 2 months.
Hope you get some rain, but no severe weather this time!

Thunderstorms have been frequent this year with some of the biggest storms arriving either at night or early morning.--some years they seem strangely absent in summer. Today reminded me of a typical South Florida day in Summer, with intermittent thunderstorms throughout the day and some heavy sun showers. We spent May and now June making up for rain deficits accumulated over the winter and early spring. If these East and Gulf Coast storms keep on going, could be a fairly wet summer. But drought and wet patterns these days seem to pop up quite suddenly so I don't take all this rain for granted. Hope you see some rain soon, drought sinks!
