We got a lot of rain yesterday. I missed a really bad thunderstorm by only 2 miles, you heard the lightining, but we did not get the heavy rain from that storm. We did get heavy rain from another thunderstorm though that also brought some wind and lightining. We ended up with .55 inches yesterday and went from 99F at 12pm to 76F at 3pm.
Today was beautiful here though. Got to 89F, but the lack of humidity made it feel really comfortable. Tomorrow should be the same and then comes the cool down to temperatures way too cold for this time of the year. And then it heats up again to average and slightly above average.

To me, my perfect weather is what you see on the dry side of Maui (Kihel area). Cool nights in the upper 60s, and warm days in the mid to upper 80s, but the breeze and lack of humidity makes it feel comfortable, but at the same time, always warm enough for the pool or beach (and the coconut palms and breadfruit trees!). They dont get any rain there really, but since they are so nearby to areas that regularly get soaked, there isnt a lack of water, or at least it doesnt seem like it since the resort landscapes are as lush as can be!
