Its been a really cool June here. Average high is 84F for this time of the year and only the 4 days involved with the heat wave will be getting that warm. The rest are all in the mid to upper 70s. It feels like May, but finally we will be seeing the 90s for 2 days. I feel that some plants give up when it gets above 95F so its going to be important to water them all a lot!
So far I haven't been too impressed with the growth from some of my plants (my bananas), whereas others have done amazingly well (one of my ee's in particular).

it's been a roller coaster here we get a few days near 90 and then it cools down to 72. They are saying we may hit the record of 97 tomorrow but then we will struggle to hit 80 on Friday. It's better than constant cool but it would be nice to see everything take off with a week long stretch where the average high is around 90. it's also super dry, Sunday was the first real rain in a month. It's really brown around here is looks like mid July not mid June.
