Tons of leaf hoppers? Odd...

The passed few days I have been seeing tons of what I think are leaf hoppers on my coconut palm. If I can get a pic I'll post a close up. They are tiny/moth like and they are are all over. I see most of them near lights and they seem to favor my coco. Nothing else has as many as it does. I set up a bug zapper right next to my palm and you wouldn't believe how much of a pile of dead bugs lay on the floor in just one night!

I wonder what they are? Palms are pretty much the only plants in my yard that are not bothered by grasshoppers, slugs, and the other bugs that tear up plants.
Hope the bug zapper takes care of them!
