That sounds like a really nice idea! If you're planting lipstick palms, definitely make sure you live in a fully tropical climate (in the US Hawaii and Miami/ Florida keys are the only places where you can grow lipstick palms. As for lighting, I think some spotlights would be a great idea. If you can get the spotlights to light up the top of the royal palms and then some shorter ground lights to line the driveway, that would look really nice!

If you mean sunlight, they prefer full sun, and plenty of water. In habitat they are a swamp grower. There's no particular fertiliser requirement, the general ones for palms would be okay.
