Yucca before blooms

Sometimes when yuccas bloom, this will cause them to pup and create offsets. You could end up with a 3 headed yucca.

I agree, sometimes (actually pretty often) yuccas create more than one growing point after blooming. I know of some here with 2 main branches, and others with as many as 8 main branches! Some Y. recurvifolias dont make any new heads after blooming, I think that the more robust looking recurvifolias are some type of hybrid because some of them grow faster, have thicker leaves, and branch less often than others of the same species.
