Need help with palm ID

I'd like to find out what this palm is. I looked throughout the book and couldn't find a reference. It is a photo taken somewhere in Florida and it obviously grows in the shade since it has a larg oak growing over it. Thanks for your help.

That's not a lot to go on, but my guess would be Livistona chinensis.

I found the plant index for your publication online. There are only 7 palms in the index, using latin and common names:

Costa Rican palm/Chamaedorea spp.
European fan palm/Mediterranean fan palm/Chamaerops humilis
mini fishtail palm/Chamaedorea metallica
lady palm/Rhapis sp.
needle palm/Rhapidophyllum hystrix
reed palm/Chamaedorea seifrzii
saw palmetto/Serenoa repens

Based on that list, I am uncertain. Can you tell on the cover photo if the petioles are armed or not? I suppose it's even possible the plant in the photo is not listed in the index.

catkim, I don't believe it was listed. I saw nothing else that looked like it in the index.

Well, it is definitely not any palm from that index. Probably L. Chinensis as stated above as it is so common. But it could it possibly be Tracycarpus martianus?
