Nice tour of the neighborhood! I've never been to Iowa, but it does remind me a lot of Upstate NY and PA. What time of day did you take these pics? Looks very nice and quiet. Usually mornings and evenings are the worst here because of the people commuting and there's always road work being done which adds to the traffic!
That mansion is beautiful! Whoever lives there is very rich, thats for sure!
I always like to see some dawn redwoods, they look really nice, but I rarely see them at big sizes around here since most people have to cut them down because they plant it close their homes or run out of room, or something like that.

It was in the morning and if you look close at the pics you can see the time.

Looks like just before 7:30 if Im reading that church clock right! Very cool to see large clocks like that, you must live in a pretty old town which is cool to see in the midwest since it's as common there.

It does look green but its faux green-stressed it is(Yota),even the Soybeans looked nice and green yesterday.
BUT
When I was heading back into town I noticed the corn looks pale
like it went through an oven and the Soybeans are shriveled up too.

Of course,it being 106F the other day and possibly hotter today is not helping AT ALL!
