Is this fall?

Air conditioning off and windows open. 73 at 12:30 EDT, low humidity and low dew point. We are getting a nice 2-3 day break here. Lately it's been 85 already at this time. The palms will slow down but I'll take it. It will be nice sleeping with the window open and it falling to the mid 50s tonight. We'll be back in the heat again by Saturday though 90s this weekend and high 80s all next week is the forecast. I hope a lot of you get a little break. I know people in the south won't though.

Nice to get a break and have the windows open for a change.
Possibly a massive heat wave begins Friday.
Time to catch up on the watering.

Cold frontal passage but still kind of humid, 82 F. as soil moisture has been good--no drought yet, but could use the rain. Supposed to be a few very nice sunny, dry days, low-mid 80's, strong UV, then we wait to see if the massive,midwest monster of a heat wave (from Texas to Dakotas), moves East. --Still a "normal" summer here--stay tuned.

Its been weird over here in cali. For a while we went up to average with a few days above, but were back down to below average... Interesting past few years.

Cool day here too! It got up to 85F today because the clouds didnt let enough sun in to warm us up. It was suppose to get to 91F. Looks like a nice row of 90s next week here, and no sight of rain at all in the next 10 days! I will be watering a lot these next few days!

Same here up in Washington. We've been cooler than normal since fickin March! And no let up. "Summer" has been lame. And of course I picked this year to get back into palms. Murphy's Law. Currently we've been 10 degrees below normal. We can barely get above mid 60's. Here's hoping for a hot or even normal August.

I hear you earthworm73. I was also hoping for at least a normal summer after last years very cool summer. We are barely hanging on in the 80f's with a few days in 90fs. Around the 4th of July we did hit the 100fs for a few days, which is at least some summer heat. Hope it warms back up and stays warm.

Looks like a massive, record-breaking heat wave is about to start from Texas to North Dakota.--Then heading East some time next week. Getting dry here now. Hope it's not like last year's drought!
