Nice! Your coco looks like its taking advantage of the nice weather! Mine opened up one frond and another is halfway up. Its a bit slower than last year (and slower than the palms I have in the ground) but its doing well!
And my sabal minor looks like its making seeds now. Im not sure if the seeds will be viable or not, but Im glad it got pollonated and I'll see if the seeds sprout! Its my first palm in the ground to reach maturity! I dont have any other palms in the ground that are even close to adulthood though (probably at least 5 years before my trachycarpus starts blooming).

Congrats on your coconut frond emerging. I'm sure it is exciting seeing your palms responding to the favorable weather. We have finally starting having our typical mediterreanean summer weather - warm with little to no rain. The 10 day outlook shows no more than a 30% chance of rain. Time for me to start lugging the ole hose and bucket. All of my palms are responding slow but keep in mind they are all in pots which I understand keeps palm growth on the slow side.

There is somthing Im worried about. My bananas are turning black! Does anyone know why? Thanks!

Looks good, I'd love to see a picture of the whole coconut. Mine is pushing up its 2nd spear of the summer and it is skyrocketing. I now think I may have a chance on three full fronds this summer and maybe a new spear by fall. The spears on my two bottle palms really started to fan oout after all of the rain late last week followed by 90 and sun this weekend (and today)
