I think they are christmas palms. Here is a listing on ebay. Look at the picture in the description. It looks just like yours it says photo of

Well, they kind of look alike lol. It could be a bamboo palm. I wish it said what it was.

I think I am going to grab 6 of them and get them potted (outside) and see how they do. You never know.

Yeah, you never know. I guess it will be a surprize! Well, at least we know its a palm! Where did you get them from? All I can think of is dollar general or dollar tree.

It is just called the 99 Cent Store. They are a chain in Southern California.

Oh, so I guess they wouldnt have them at dollar tree then. Oh, well. Those are cool palms. A bamboo palm and a christmas palm are both cool plants. You might not be able to tell for a while.

Im going to say Chamaedorea for sure, probably Chamaedorea seifrizii (aka Bamboo palm). They are slow growers, but nice palms! They cant handle frost well though (maybe they will handle down to 28F). We used to have 99 cent stores in the NYC area, but they all were bought over years ago.

Would have to agree with Chamaedorea though from the price I'd say elegans lol. Almost impossible to tell apart when young. Look up that genus ,should give you a lot more info gary

my guess is C seifrizii... seem a tad tall for new-born C elegans. But they are certainly Chamaedoreas. Price is no difference between the two... both incredibly cheap and easy palms to germinate.
