Palm I.D.

I hardly ever post but have lurked here for a number of years. I am fascinated with zone pushing and the possibility of palms surviving further north than one would usually expect.

I vacation in Hilton Head Island, SC every year, and for the last few years have noticed this palm. I believe it is a Queen palm but figured I'd ask the experts on this forum.

If so, it's a rare sight so far north as Hilton Head. Most palms in the area there are the predictable Sabals, Trachys, Med. Fan palms, with the occasional Canary Island Date or Washingtonia.

This particular palm is on the south side of a building and fronts a blacktop parking lot at the southernmost tip of Hilton Head, so may have a bit of a microclimate going for it.
