My latest cycad purchase

As a background, many years ago in a botanic garden I saw a Zamia neurophyllidia with its unusual leaflets and from then on wanted one. They're not seen around usually and I've never run into one for sale.

Today I was at my local nursery and decided to check out the cycads. There they had a couple of Z. skinneri. I vaguely remembered skinneri was also pretty special with the same unusual leaflets so decided to buy it.

It's a small plant so will probably have to wait one or two hundred years for it to get to maximum size. But it should still look quite good well before that. And besides, I have a good imagination.
