Hello everyone,

two days ago I finally fulfilled an old dream of mine - bought two palm trees and placed them on my balcony.

The issue is I never had any experience with them and am terrified to do something wrong. The worst part I have no idea what type of palms I have. I have been researching for two days and couldn't find exactly same time as I have.

Stores are different here and usually provide little help.

I am attaching the picture of my babies. The one to the right needs to be re-potted in my understanding - the roots are sticking out of the pot.

I was only told to water them once a week (1 liter or 0.26 gal). I watered one of them yesterday because it felt dry and to my horror there are three yellow leaves this morning.

I live in the Middle East (Mediterranean part). The sun is super hot right now and humidity is 56 percent. The palms are on the balcony but they get plenty of air and sun there.
