My mediterranean palm was coming out of its hole in my xeroscaped backyard in Las Vegas. I had to make the hole bigger and in the process cut some of the roots to be able to get the palm completely out. Then I was unable to dig much more as the soil here is extremely hard. So the palm laid out in the summer sun for 8 hours until someone finished the hole. Needless to say, this poor plant is in serious stress/shock and a week later, even with me feeding it Dr. Q's (to prevent shock) it looks awful. Do you think it will recuperate. I was advised to water it every other day so that the roots can adjust.
