My green dwarf is on a couple of 3 inch thick landscaping stones right against my west facing fence. I was going to move it because I noticed an earwig chewing on the newest frond. When I picked it up I saw that a toad had made that spot its home. After all of the rain in May we have had tons of toads in the neighborhood. I couldn't throw it out of it's home so I stacked two additional stones on top of the others and put the palm back. I'm a softy!
