Looking great, nice job with the ground cover. Just wondering about the palm having a single trunk. Is that something you do so it will fit inside the box in the winter?

Thanks Alex. Chadec, I cut off all of the pups or new shoots several times during the year. I'd rather have it put it's strength into growing a good size single trunk, which it seems to be doing. It was in a shady area until I cut down a huge green ash tree to the northwest of it. It should really grow now.

I'm impressed! I can't even keep those things going here in pots. It just gets too humid for them here.

Thanks islandbreeze. Wow. We wish we had a little humidity here in northern Utah! All of my 4 outdoor palms love our climate. They just can't survive our zone 4 winters!
