Young tree fern: can I save it?

Hello,
I don't know where to post this so I thought it being a million or year old plant put it with the cycads.
So this dicksonia antartica I got it's uk grown from spores. So I'd like to save it.
I forgot about it and it fell to bottom of green house where it hasn't been watered. I was going to soak it over night.
What advice can you give I save it?
If it can't be saved shall I just compost it?
I think ill buy a bear trunk. Any advice on that?
