I really like all the fishtail palms! They are beautiful and I wish they didnt have to die, but I guess thats the way it goes. I would like to see them planted more often, but I think they are only for open spaces since they will eventually have to be dug up out of ground.

And do you know,that not more then 15 miles west,across the bay-this palm will not grow in frost free San Francisco? It will..survive. But,stays puny as I understand it.
