w. robusta help! need answers!

Well... I have so many questions. I am a Newbie in the area of growing Palms and did my research on the W. Robusta so I just purchased some W. Robusta seeds on Ebay,I received them on Aug. 29, 2011 and soaked them for 24 hours as instructed. Planted on Aug. 31 Its Saturday Sept. 3rd nothing yet... The say they're "fast growers" how long for W. Robusta to germinate and sprout? And the curious person that I am wanted to know how the inside of the seeds look like to i tried to pinch them but the seed was too hard like a rock so I got a hammer and split one open and the inside was white and hard like a rock! is it suppose to be like that or did I get Stiffed for some rocks? Uggh.... I hope not

They are probably fine.

With most/some palm seeds,freshness matters.

Fresh Washy seeds can sprout in less than a week.

They may take longer,you will just have to wait like everybody else.

Where did you plant them?

Well i planted four in my own little green house I made. And I live in New Mexico. And I have my own organic soil that we have here at home. So Its just a waiting game now? Today it was like about 80 Degrees and they are getting alot of heat and moisture but not wet soil. Okay Well
