A chance at fungus control

I just want to throw out this suggestion for fungus control. It has somewhat frequently come up on these forums for safe fungicides for our palms but there has never really been a satisfactory answer of what to use. A few weeks ago I cornered a palms and tropicals supplier (not a store worker) in my local Home Despot as he was setting up his display. He didn't have a sure answer either, but he strongly advised against using the copper-based stuff as it might dry out the entire frond. He suggested that I might try Neem Oil, since applications for the stuff seems to be expanding almost daily and at the very least it shouldn't harm my palms. I have been using a mixture of 1 tbsp Neem Oil in a quart of Magnesium-augmented (bath salt) rainwater for three weeks now. The fungus does not appear to be spreading anymore, even with all the rain I have been getting and the palms are looking much healthier now. So might be worth a shot if any of you are having fungal problems with your palms.
