Y.gloriosa bloomed,the top is now finished(apparently)so I cut back the leaves........

Awesome pics! Your plants are still looking fantastic! Im glad that you didnt get a frost by you yet since your plants still look really nice and green! Thanks for sharing! Hopefully those bananas will start to ripen before frost!

Hey jim as usual looks good. Do you know what kind of banana? That gabe on banas .org can tell you what it is from looking at the flower. Also I will be coming out to iowa next week.
