That is a great deal! The lowes by me had needle palms too, but during the spring. I got it for 23 dollars, and its not even half that size!

Yours looks very healthy too.

Home Depot too!

A few weeks ago I got a Sabal Minor that size for less than $8.
They were 75% off (normally $35) If I wasn't so poor I would have bought all of their remaining stock ;-)

I'll ask Mr. Emmanuel and Mr. Axelrod to send you some Cap & Trade funds since you're trying to reduce greenhouse emmissions by planting palms.

If you would not mind mentioning it, which lowes has Needle palms - ours in NY only had s. minors, which were snapped up fast.

Actually the one I went to was in Staten Island, NY. It was all the way to the north shore area (probably the only one on the island). I went back in August though to see what they had and they were loaded with a ton of sabal minors, (probably 20 large ones), but not a single needle palm. They didnt have anything really special that time (the hardy hibsicus were only about 7 dollars though I didnt get any). Back in june they had some pretty large 7 gallon needles I think, but I already got a big sabal so I figured I would get a small needle.

Im not sure if they would have any now, but you never know.

Good luck.
