Im sorry to see those ppictures maybe they arn't use to the soil and are in shock. Or your watering them too much. How much were thay gosh. Sorry good luck.

Looks like too much water to me. My filiferas were looking like that this past summer when I was watering them every day. The fronds were dropping, almost weeping, and turning yellow. I would hold back on the water a little and see if they start to grow again. Cut the dead leaves off so you can see their progress.

Thanks for the advice. I had someone from a landscaping supply come over and he said more water, but they will be fine. I keep reading online where people say more water, or less water, or give fertilizer, or dont give fertilizer, etc. etc. My head is spinning. I dont know what to do.

Depending on your temperatures, maybe just water once or twice a week, that way the watering will be consistent, but not overboard. Remember that Washingtonias are desert palms anyway. They could also just be in transplant shock, to throw one more complication into it.

Well, Its getting down to the lower 60s at night in Phoenix valley but still gets to 85 90 during the day sometimes. So I will hold off on water until next week. Another guy told me to put a trickle of water from the hose for an hour and a half for each one to wash the salt away. He seems to think they have salt damage because the water down here is so bad. More people are telling me that its too much water, so I'll go with that. I'll let you guys know whats going on with them. Thanks!
