| Hey Everyone,
While I was posting pictures of the Nor'easter I decided to post this picture that I took two years ago while in Hawaii (Maui)...this picture has this calming affect for me...so I decided to share it with you all!!!
I hope you like it....Ahhhh.. tropical breezes...beautiful palm trees...Unbelievable sunset...Life is good!!!!

| Beautiful, I wish we could grow coconuts by us! Either way ill be looking for this picture sometime this winter :) Hawaii gets one of the last sunsets in the country (and the world), so I guess you can say that nature saved the best for last! Thanks! |

Looks like they had a run in with a hurricane??
Coconuts always amaze me at the ability to grow in the "dead zone " where NOTHING will grow. Yet they grow equally as well if not better in good soil wind protection blla /bla /bla.Yet can be such a bear to grow in a pot!!!
The only absolute requirement seems to be heat??? gary |

| Today I'm bringing in my potted palms...they are calling for mid 30's during the nightime this week...so I better not take a chance on leaving them outside...today the temps are mid 50's.....I think that I'll look at the sunset pic again...and again...LOL !!!! | it got to the upper 60's here in Va Beach today ........ but this coming week yes it supposeto get cold over night |
