I believe this palm I purchased a few years ago is an Alexander palm( Archontophoenix alexandrae), but I can't remember for sure. Does that seem right? It's not a Solitaire palm (Ptychosperma elegans), is it?

RE: confirm ID

the leaf pennets dont look as close to the Archontophoenix Alexandrae- (King) Alexandra Palm as they do like you mentioned the Ptychosperma Elegans - Solitaire / Alexander Palm, which is called the alexander palm not alexandra... so it looks more like a Ptychosperma. so maybe you remembered it as a Alexander Palm and always thought it was the king Alexandra since it was little. but sorry if I couldnt help. thats just all i know and it loks much more like the Solitaire / Alexander palm to me. maybe something else totally.
