Final protection pics

Just in time before the snow just started to fly. Our 25 day forecast looks awful too, well below normal until Christmas.

Somehow both Thermocubes magically started working again, so this washie has 1 string of mini-lights, 2 layers of frostcloth with a cage stiffed with leaves, mulched, then tarped. I'm thinking Imay be good even if the lights fail.

Inside the "bottomed out" garbage can full of leaves is a philodendron. Got this idea from Rob's washie protection...RIP washie. Basjoo under the bags, Alocasia under the tent.

Another philodendron under the tent stuffed with leaves with a light quilt on top. Also harvested some brussels sprouts for Thanksgiving. We're supposed to get down to the mid-teens before Thanksgiving and I didn't know if they'd make it.

Finally, my finished lasagna bed. Threw some mulch on top to make it pretty. Hopefully I have nice compost by spring.

I'm never ready for winter, but at least my plants officially are.
