Looks like a very promising microclimate. Cant wait to see how all your palms do! I also like the lemon and olive tree. For some reason you dont see too many people with potted olive trees. Also incase you are interested in knowing the name of your hibsicus its called "double peach". I have one too and its one of my favorates. When I first got it, it was looking pretty dead, but I saw the flower and said that with some attention it could be very promising, and when that is in full flower it easily outdoes all the plants near it! Good luck!

Thanks T7, the back of the house has to be 8a-b depending on the winter. The olive tree is in a large pot but because the squirrels have really picked it clean this year, I decided to try to winterize it like an cold tolerant palm next summer and palnt it. I'll cover it and see what happens. I did get many olives 2 years ago and placed them in brine. A woman who loves to garden passed away and i was given some of her prize hibisucs'. I was going to let one freeze but if you want it I will did it up. It is a magnificent yellow with red throat. They are large blooms. I could mail a clipping to a po box for you or to a friends house, just to bless you with it. Take care.

you already covered everything i'm waiting till we get 20 degrees to cover my 2 pindos, 1 takils and my single needle palm

The current temps are fine but if an icy rain and cold temp drop occurred suddenly it would be bad for the palms-except needle. Weather is unpredictable this time of year. All mine ate not wraped a 100% but are ready and can be finished up if a jiffy. If I may humbly suggest, I would suggest you prep them and certainly not wait til 20. Why stress the palms and let the leaves burn - cold wind and temps in the low 20s is bad for them.

Hey Greg, Great pictures!!! I can't belive the size of that lemon!!! It's HUGE !!! Laura in VB

THanks Laura, That one of the few lemon varieties that grow well in a pot and has a sour taste. The meyer lemons are tastey but not bitter enough for some recipes. The tree makes between 10-20 lemons like that every year - even after the squirrels pull some off.
