| I decided to post some pics of my in-ground palms before I have to cover them for winter. |

| Thank you. I will have to post some pics of my protection method soon so others can see the option. This palm has been in the ground for 5 years now. |

| wow 5 years, thats great. I have a young trachy about 2 years old in the ground. I hope that by next year it will get some good growth to it. Post pictures of your protection method, Its always good to see the different methods. |

| Thanks everybody! I will definitely post some protection methods, I hope to start covering my palms tomorrow, so I'll post pics then. Jim, good point, I think you may be right. The leaves are definitely stiff and nice and neat like a waggie, and it puts out a lot of leaves, usually one every two weeks or so during growing season, but doesn't tend to gain a lot of height doing so. |
